B&B Publishing is a Canadian company. We have been producing textbooks, teaching and learning resources for provincial curricula, and extra curriculum materials for classrooms across Canada in both English and French for the past 40 years. Our various catalogues include more than 350 titles.

One of our catalogues features the popular Veritech Series, a valuable teaching and learning resource for students from Kindergarten to Grade 6.

The B&B WallMaps Series is another teaching and learning resource for elementary and high school students. Social Studies, Geography and History come to life with our B&B WallMaps. They have been in use in classrooms across Canada for more than 30 years and are being continuously updated to ensure a relevant learning experience.

Quickcheck Math is our latest series of books. It is a hands-on resource ideal for assessing, practicing and consolidating key math concepts. This newly published series is curriculum-specific, designed for Kindergarten to Grade 3.

Then and Now

Created in the late 1960s, the launch of the first generation of Veritech book and tile sets saw immediate success in Quebec and in French schools across Canada.

The mid-1970s brought DeBray, our French grammar book series, as well as the launch of the very first series of pedagogical B&B WallMaps on the history of Canada — in all, 20 new titles.

The early 1980s saw production of the second generation of Veritech book and tile sets as well as the hand-in-hand implementation of English and French publishing programs. There were also numerous additions to our catalogues, including a new adult education mathematics series in French called MA/GSM/GMO.

The late 1980s to early 1990s welcomed a new generation of Veritech books and cases as home schooling and specialized retail markets opened up across Canada. A third new series of math books was published, brought on by the implementation of new curricula guidelines and programs. The first publication of Les maths et la vie, a series of maths books for high school students and a complete series of resources for math educators, was also released.

At the dawn of the 21st century, we published the Baba series, a storybook and game for children (ages 3+) and parents alike. We have also updated our math activity books, and the home learning market has responded well to our wide variety of learning tools. Our catalogue continues to grow, now including over 100 titles in both English and French. In addition, the B&B WallMaps series boasts over 50 titles in English and French.
